My name is Jacqui Tillyard. I’m an Independent Funeral Celebrant. I’m a Brummie by birth but am based in Leicestershire. Part of my role as a celebrant is to create a meaningful, appropriate and personal ceremony that carries out yours and your loved one’s wishes. I love getting to know you as a family as we create the perfect space to say goodbye to a loved one.

We liaise closely to get your ceremony just right. I will capture the key elements of your loved one’s life and we will celebrate them. I will write and develop a unique script that reflects your individual ideas, meaningful words and heartfelt thoughts. If you wish to participate in the ceremony that’s fine too. This ceremony will be crafted focusing totally on you and your family wishes.

You can pretty much choose any music, poems, readings ,videos and if you wish to add a hint of religious content such as prayers and hymns, that is fine with me too.
